Environment
Granab is constantly striving to deliver the most environmentally friendly floor construction.
Granab does not follow the development of subfloor systems but leads it and now presents new solutions that are even friendlier to the environment and with better sound insulation.
Compared to different types of castings, the systems have up to 50% less CO2 impact.
Granab subfloor systems are environmentally certified and provide comfortable, environmentally friendly and creak-free floors. Extensive sustainability tests are carried out by RISE (formerly SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden). LCA reports and EPDs are available for all systems.
The fans Granab supplies for its floor ventilation are approved by Byggvarubedömningen.

Indoor climate
In a good living and working environment, it is important that the floors are not to hard, which can cause pain in the shoulders, back and legs. The Granab system with built-in shock-absorbing effect provides comfortable floors with a documented degree of deflection at point loads.
Deflection at point loads in floors laid on the Granab system is, in addition to the structure of the subfloor system and cc distance between the girders, dependent on the choice of floor surface layer and installation design.
Reduce the spread of both structure-borne and airborne sound between rooms and floors by using Granab subfloor systems, and achieve a comfortable sound level indoors.

Granab is a reusable
system
Granab can be supplied fully reusable. By anchoring the system with screws, the system can be easily disassembled and reused.

Granab subfloor system
Granab subfloor systems are designed to be easily disassembled and reassembled in their entirety if necessary. All details can be recovered.

The girder
- Material: Galvanised steel or alternatively untreated steel, thickness 1.5 mm.
- Environment: The thin steel plate is part of ecosystem and is processed into new steel in elxtro-stell works
- Functional durability: Galvanised steel has extremly long durability.

Dampening elements
- Material: Elastomer, GRAB-310
- Environment: No environmental impact, recyclable into new polyurethane products GRAB-310’s resistance to short-term extreme overloads is very high and the material springs back entirely if overloaded. The long-term creep has no effect on the material’s dynamic E-modules.
- Functional durability: Elastomer has extremely long durability. Not affected by ozone, UV radiation or by commonly occurring chemicals.

Support block with adjustment screws
- Material: Polypropylene, Granab standard, accordingto DIN 53444.
- Environment: No environmental impact. Recyclable into new basic material.
- Functional durability: Very long according to the diagram.
